Tasmania is a photographer and nature lover's dream! There are so many natural wonders packed into this island. It's almost like a hybrid between Australia and New Zealand.

Meet in Hobart, and enjoy this beautiful city. You start your loop around the island, heading eat. At first you can visit historic Port Arthur with its prison from the 1800s. There are a few great hikes in the area, and interesting geological structures, as well as a zoo for Tasmanian Devils. Head into the nearby peninsula and check the beautiful nature there. Then continue the loop east. You'll see the amazing Bay of Fires, and famous Wineglass Bay and enjoy relaxing, swimming, viewing lookouts and hiking at these places. Stop by Launceston to sample wines, see an incredibly beautiful town and the Cataract Gorge. Then continue along the coast. One of the biggest highlights will be visiting the world heritage listed wilderness of Cradle Mountain. Then head back to Hobart slowly. Stop to see some waterfalls, and if you have time you could also visit Bruny Island. Finally, head back to the capital city of Hobart with your new trip mates.

Expect to get fit with lots of hiking, snorkeling and exercise as you appreciate the natural sights. This is a no-frills adventure - you’ll be setting up your own tents, sharing the driving, cooking your own dinner and sharing your tent with other 1 or 2 travellers. The target age group is 18-35.
